Trauma
Trauma effects us all. It is an experience that is very real, very significant, and deeply personal. It changes the way we view ourselves, others and the world around us. It is said that, "Trauma is perhaps the most avoided, ignored, belittled, denied, misunderstood, and untreated cause of human suffering" (Peter Levine) but it is real none-the-less. Whether it is a loved one, a job, or a beloved animal, the reality is that we will all suffer loss. Addiction
